Gardener Logos
When we think about a gardner, we think of someone who works in nature. These logos shows the process of the joy of working in the environment through a single image.

The goal during brainstorming is to first put anything that comes to mind on paper. This can range from the most obvious to the most abstract.

Brainstorming is to get the bad ideas out first.
When sketching, I've gone through many versions of imagery when I hear the word "gardener". Sketches like #14 combines a happy person with floral design in the shape of a "G".

Drafting Idea 1
After showcasing sketches to my peers, many noted on the aspect of combining the word, "garden" with the imagery of flora.

Many peers also noted on combining flora within the word itself.

Many others responded positively with the image of a happy person within flora. This draft showcases a leaf with a cheerful person within the negative space.

Critiquing
After gathering suggestions and opinions on several drafts, I begin to digitally create verisons of the logos on Adobe Creative Cloud.

Potential Business Cards
In the case the logo would need to be incorporated with a word, I will draft ideas of those as well.

Desired Outcome
After collecting various opinions, suggestions and trials, a logo showing a joyful person within a leaf had overwhelming positive reaction.
When using text for items such as business cards, it is important to use a typeface that match the personality of the company. In this case, a simple serif font worked well.
