The widespread issue of wage disparities and unequal pay persists in the workforce, particularly affecting those without access to wage information. Many individuals, without sufficient resources and knowledge, struggle to advocate for fair compensation, further increasing workplace injustice and inequality.

Creating the Equal app was an amazing learning experience, especially as I was relatively new to UI/UX design. This project immensely deepened my understanding of how users feel and what they go through while using an app. It made me realize that there’s a critical role of empathy in design, guiding me to prioritize clarity, simplicity, and user-centricity. Now, I focus on designing with a deeper understanding of users' feelings and needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey.
